Tested, developed and refined over a period of more than 2 years with the help of Matt Staples, Ali Clarkson and Danny MacAskill, the Inspired 24" has great attention to detail and is of the highest quality.
- This frame has been designed to bridge the gap between 'normal' trials and 'streety' BMX type moves - check out the vids listed below to see how effective it is!
- Constructed from 7005-T6 aluminium throughout.
- One piece CNC machined chainstay yoke and 68mm bottom bracket shell is super thick and tough, yet offers plenty of tyre clearance (we reckon a 2.7" Maxxis should fit no problem!).
- The frame also features gussets at the top and down tube where they meet the head tube. The downtube gusset is different to that found on most frame, with more weld area for maximum toughness.
- Extra thick 2.0mm downtube (same as an Onza T-Rex) to shrug off the knocks.
- Head tube takes standard 1/8" headsets, 120mm length, with super thick ring re-inforcing to help prevent flaring.
- Takes a 31.8mm seat clamp and 27.2mm seat post, alternatively you can stick a mini seat in there :)
- Dedicated CNC machined low profile 4-Bolt Magura mounts as standard, spaced at 92mm to accept rims up to 42mm wide.
- Super tough forged (lighter than CNC machined for the same strength) dropouts spaced at 135mm take a strong derailleur hanger with re-inforcing rib down the back. The hanger is a very common unit, we've found them called 'Kona D1'. They can also be found on many Raleigh, Kona, Trek, Jamis, Diamondback, Univega, Bianchi, Haro, Proflex/K2, Muddy Fox, Claud Bulter, Jeep, Voodoo and Univega bikes (just in case you get stuck somewhere with a broken hanger!). You of course get one with each frame, but we have replacements available here.
- Hose guides fitted along the underside of the top tube allow gears, V Brakes or Magura brakes to be run without the need for messy zip-ties.
- Gloss powder coat finish in Blue, Dark Green or White, supplied with separate sticker kit (Grey for the White frames, White for the Blue frames and White for the Dark Green frames) so you can get creative!
- Designed for use with a standard 400-410mm fork.
